Synopsis and Discussion

Heavy rainfall Tuesday has pushed particle pollution levels to the lower GREEN range as forecast. A complex storm system will push through the region by late Wednesday finally putting an end to the precipitation as cool, Canadian high pressure builds in. The air mass is clean and there's little evidence to suggest much higher readings then lower code GREEN Wednesday. A very slight bump in the AQI may occur Thursday and Friday as the ridge settles overhead and provides light winds and good overnight inversions, but still expect code GREEN each day (GENTRY).
