Nature Education Programs

During the spring and fall, we offer quality nature education to the children of our communities. Our primary
goal is to generate an appreciation of the natural world by providing outdoor experiences that actively engage
children, and provide the tools and knowledge to help them become active stewards of the environment. We also
offer programs throughout the year for groups in the area, as well as provide self-guided programs for any
group who wishes to come on their own to explore the Park. In the summer, the Nature Education division holds
programs on almost every Tuesday during the months of June through mid-August. These summer programs, called
Tuesdays at Tanglewood, are open to all ages, and are free to the public with the exception of the Tanglewood
Park entrance fee.
