On June 6, Deputy Chris Hill observed two Corvettes racing on N. Liberty Street. Deputy Hill initiated his emergency equipment to attempt to stop the vehicles. One of the vehicles crashed into a building during the race before Deputy Hill could reach them. The vehicle caught fire and Deputy Hill extinguished the flames. He then rendered aid to the passenger. Deputy Hill continues to investigate this incident and has conducted himself in a professional manner. Deputy Hill has been employed with the FCSO since 2005.
