The State of North Carolina recently made changes to Registered Sex Offenders duty to register information. In early March 2017, Mr. Eckart noticed a discrepancy with the new duty to register and brought it to my attention. After careful review, it was determined an error had occurred. The North Carolina Attorney General's Office was contacted to remedy the error. On March 23rd 2017, Attorney Hart thanked Mr. Eckart for his diligence and notification of the erroneous information.

Mr. Eckart's goes to great lengths to ensure the FCSO maintains lawful and accurate procedures in the Sex Offender Registry Unit.
