In late September, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) received a Crimestoppers report in reference to a man operating a motorcycle in a reckless manner driving over 100 mph and harassing another driver. The report included no other specific identifying details. Deputy Alvarez took the initiative to complete a thorough investigation of the incident, going above and beyond his required duties as a Patrol Deputy. Deputy Alvarez sought out and pursued leads until he was able to identify the driver of the motorcycle and file charges accordingly. Deputy Alvarez's diligence is indicative of the high standard that FCSO staff members strive to achieve every day.
