On June 4, 2021, Deputy K. Holley was dispatched to a security check at a residence. When Deputy Holley arrived, he made contact with the 15 year old female caller who was standing across the road from her residence. The caller advised someone had broken a window and was inside her home. Deputy Holley quickly went to the residence and located a busted window and an open window. Deputy Holley made his way to the front of the residence where he located a male standing in the doorway. Deputy Holley ordered the male to the ground where he was detained. Deputy Holley’s investigation revealed the male had indeed broken into the residence and was in the process of stealing valuable jewelry. The quick response from Deputy Holley led to the arrest of the perpetrator and the recovery of the family’s valuables.
