Tradition and change in NC Folk Art
Interested in folk art in North Carolina? If so then mark your calendar for Dr. Charles Zug’s slide presentation and lecture on “Tradition and Change in North Carolina Folk Art.” Learn about quilting, rag rugs, and pottery as they were traditionally created and used in North Carolina. Dr, Zug will also discuss the role folk art and folk media play in contemporary life. Charles Zug is professor emeritus in the UNC-Chapel Hill English Department and folklore program.
