Lynn was a grant writer for the Center for Social Work Research and Practice, UNCW Department of Social Work. She works for herself primarily writing proposals for health, human services and criminal justice organizations as well as teaching grant writing at Cape Fear Community College Small Business Center.

Kathleen is the Collection Coordinator for the Nonprofit Resource Center at Forsyth County Public Library and the local Funding Information Network Partner for the Foundation Center in New York City.
