1st Annual Poetry Slam

This program has been canceled. On Wednesday, April 8, at 6 p.m. at the Central Library in the auditorium, the library will hold its first annual Poetry Slam featuring local poets and spoken word performers.

A meet and greet for the Poetry Slam will start at 5:30 p.m. and the program will start promptly at 6 p.m.

The grand prize for the winner of the Poetry Slam will be a book and a writing workshop donated by Keith Flynn and Press 53.

Participants of the slam should prepare 3 poems no longer than 2 minutes each.
