Forsyth County facilities opening at noon on Jan 28 due to inclement weather
Forsyth County Government offices will open at noon, except for essential personnel, on Wednesday, Jan. 28, due to inclement weather. This includes the Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center as well as the County’s Health and Human Services campus and libraries.
It will also include Tanglewood, Triad, and Horizons parks though some areas may remain closed due to their condition. All other county parks remain closed and will reopen as conditions allow.
The departments of Tax, Social Services and Behavioral Health Services will operate remotely before noon, starting at 8 a.m.

Social Services’ main number is 336-703-3800. Applications for Energy Assistance, Medicaid, TANF-Work First and Food and Nutrition Services can be made by phone or by visiting epass.nc.gov. Reports of Abuse/Neglect can be made 24/7 at 336-703-2287.
Behavioral Health Services can be contacted at 336-703-2784.
