Energy Assistance
The Crisis Intervention Program (CIP) helps families
with payments made directly to service providers to prevent or alleviate crisis
due to heating or cooling needs. Individuals whose service has been disconnected,
or who are in immediate danger of disconnection, my be eligible for assistance.
DSS contracts with the Salvation Army of Winston-Salem to take applications for
this program. Please call 722-8721 for an appointment.
